Abstract

For our third major work, Translation 2, we were tasked with pulling an idea from our Synthesis Essay and turning it into a piece of digital media. I decided to combine two images together in order to express my paper adequately into a digital image. The intended audience for this image is the same as that of the Synthesis Essay, which included government members, educators, and community members concerned about immigration status. The genre of this assignment is vivid, as it is an image that uses visual work to show complex themes. From completing this assignment, I learned how to turn written work into a visual piece. By combining text with images, I discovered the power of creative synthesis. This assignment not only improved my creative skills but also helped me understand the importance of proper representation.
